GPS Week Roll Over - What do I do if my system wasn't updated before the GPS week roll over?

Follow the steps below for systems that DID NOT get firmware updated before the GPS week roll over took place. If these instructions below do not resolve issues, contact Ag Leader Support.

With ParaDyme and GeoSteer you may see a green satellite icon, but no speed on the display, or a yellow satellite icon.

With SteerCommand and OnTrac3 you may see a "Validating Feature Code" error message when attempting to engage steering, or a green satellite icon but no speed on the display.

For SteerCommand/OnTrac3:

  1. Unplug GPS 6500/7500 (or GPS receiver) so it will not track GPS
  2. Update to current firmware
  3. (For Dealers Only) Access CBS via this link and write down applicable feature code(s) to re-enter into SteerCommand. If not able to locate the system in CBS, contact Sales or Support teams to get those systems transferred under your dealership account.
    • Unlock options:
      • JD Steer
  4. Navigate to SteerCommand Steering setup wrench>My Account tab> Feature Code and re-enter expired unlocks
  5. Power cycle system and wait 1 minute before powering back on.
  6. System should now get a green satellite and autosteer should function properly

For GeoSteer:

  1.  Disconnect from GeoDock so it will not track GPS
  2. Update to current firmware
  3. (For Dealers Only) Access CBS via this link and write down applicable feature code(s) to re-enter into GeoSteer. If not able to locate the system in CBS, contact Sales or Support teams to get those systems transferred under your dealership account.
    • Unlock options:
      • RTK Unlock
      • NTRIP ReadyConnect
      • GLONASS
      • Reseller Service Plan
  4. Navigate to GeoSteer Steering setup wrench>My Account tab> Feature Code and re-enter expired unlocks
  5. Power cycle system and wait 1 minute before powering back on
  6. With the system powered back on, wait 15-20 minutes for GPS almanac to update
  7. System should now get a green satellite icon and function properly

For ParaDyme:

  1. Pull into shed or some other method to ensure the ParaDyme will not track GPS
  2. Update to current firmware
  3. (For Dealers Only) Access CBS via this link and write down applicable feature code(s) to re-enter into ParaDyme. If not able to locate the system in CBS, contact Sales or Support teams to get those systems transferred under your dealership account.
    • Unlock options:
      • RTK Unlock
      • NTRIP ReadyConnect
      • GLONASS
      • Reseller Service Plan
  4. Navigate to ParaDyme Steering setup wrench>My Account tab> Feature Code and re-enter expired unlocks
  5. Power cycle system and wait 1 minute before powering back on
  6. With the system powered back on, wait 15-20 minutes for GPS almanac to update
  7. System should now get a green satellite icon and function properly
