Verizon has announced plans to retire its non 4G LTE network (CDMA) entirely at the end of 2019.

  • Non 4G LTE devices include CDMA Relays and internal modem ParaDyme/GeoSteer systems
  • New (or new to user) CDMA Relays must be activated prior to June 30th, 2018. Non 4G LTE devices cannot be activated after this date.
  • CDMA Relays will NOT be able to be suspended and reactivated after June 30th, 2018. If users expect to use their CDMA Relay past June 30th, 2018, their device data plan must stay activated.
  • This only affects users in North America

AT&T has announced plans to retire its non 4G network on February 22, 2022.

The preferred method for getting NTRIP corrections is to use the InCommand display. Ag Leader Integra, Versa, Compass, as well as  Legacy Display users that do not wish to upgrade to an InCommand to use NTRIP via the display will not be able to access the Verizon network after the date above if they were not activated before that date. In this case users will need a 3rd party device to send external NTRIP corrections to the receiver (Paradyme, GeoSteer, GPS 6500, GPS 7500). Ag Leader does not have a preferred device for these situations.
