AgFiniti Comparison Reports
A user has the capability to create Comparison Reports in the Cloud if they have an AgFiniti Essentials License. To navigate to the Comparison Report screen select Tools, Reports and then click on Comparison Reports. The second way to navigate to the Comparison Report Screen is from the Map View screen. Within the Map View screen the user will select the Go to Reports dropdown and then click on Go to Comparison Reports.
There are three different types of Comparison Reports. Each one requires certain data to be in the cloud in order for the user to create the report. There is a message that will appear letting the user know if they are missing the required data. To verify that the data is in the cloud, navigate to Manage, Resources and click on Mappable Data.
Yield by Hybrid – This Comparison Report requires Yield and Planting/Seeding. This data needs to be stored in the same year in the Cloud. Figure 2 shows the message that will appear if the required data has not been loaded into the cloud, or if the required data is not from the same year.
Yield by Soil Type – This Comparison Report requires Yield and Soil Survey data. The Soil Survey data has to come from SMS, and the report will use the most recent year of Soil Survey data that is stored in the cloud. Figure 4 shows the message that will appear if the required data has not been loaded into the cloud.
Yield by Population/Seeding rate –This Comparison Report requires Yield and Planting data. This data needs to be stored in the same year in the Cloud. Figure 6 shows the message that will appear if the required data has not been loaded into the cloud, or if the data is not from the same year.
- The Comparison Reports will only run with Grain Harvest data at this time. Feature requests should be submitted if the user would like to use the Comparison Reports with other operations.
- If the user is unable to use the Comparison Reports screen at all, try to delete the data out and read it back in from SMS. If the data was imported from the display the user will need to delete the data from the Mappable Data tab and then reprocess the .agdata file. There was a change that was made at a certain point to the import of data in the background of AgFiniti. This change allowed the data to be used in Comparison Reports.
