The latest firmware for your display is provided for free from Ag Leader. See the detailed download instructions at the bottom of the page, then select the appropriate link from the tables below to begin your download.
Click the link for the appropriate download show above and when asked if you want to run or save, click Save.
Save the file in a location that will be easy to find later. Saving the file on the Desktop or in the My Documents folder is recommended.
Once the download is complete go to the location where the file was saved and double-click the file.
If a security warning message comes up, click Run.
Another window will open titled Ag Leader Technology. Click OK.
“WinZip Self-Extractor” will pop up. Here you need to choose the drive location of the flash drive/card that you will be using to update your monitor. Do this by clicking browse and selecting the appropriate drive letter. When you have the correct drive highlighted press OK.
NOTE: default file location is: C:\Ag Leader Upgrades\
Press Unzip. A window will pop up telling you the files have unzipped successfully.
You can verify the update is on the card by opening the corresponding drive letter in My Computer. You should see a file with a .fw2 extension.
The upgrade file is now on the flash drive/card and ready to be used with your display
Important Note for the Ag Leader Integra and Versa
If you are upgrading a display that is currently on a version less than 4.5, you cannot jump directly to the current firmware version. You must install in steps as shown below:
If your display version is currently less than 3.6, first install the v3.6 firmware package then go to step 2.
NOTE: You will need to record all configuration settings before upgrading an Ag Leader Integra display that is currently on a version below 3.0. The Ag Leader Integra display, when upgrading to firmware version 3.0, clears configuration and map data. (The display keeps grower, farm, field, boundary, and guidance-pattern information.) Configuration settings must be re-entered into the display after upgrading.
The following worksheets provide forms for documenting each configuration. Be careful to document each configuration completely and accurately.
