document CAN Switchbox Connections
Ag Leader introduced a new integrated switchbox in late February 2013, PN 4000400.  It combines the Auxiliary Input Module with the analog switchbox for a cleaner installation and appearance in the cab. Externally (pictured below) it retains much of the same look and dimensions of the analog switchbox. It is available now in kit part number 4100879. The picture below highlights the equivalent connections between the CAN switchbox and the Auxiliary Input Module. You can see how they both have...

document Q: What equipment do I need to map varieties?
Question: What equipment do I need to map varieties? Answer: It can be as simple as getting power to the display, using GPS as your speed source, and employing the internal area-count switch as your on/off switch. For a more automated approach, mount an implement switch that will turn your area counter on when the planter is down and off when your planter is up.

document Foam Driver Error, Flow Servo Driver Failure
Symptoms/Indications: A Foam Driver Error or Flow Servo Driver Failure is displayed on my display with a DirectCommand or SeedCommand system. Problem/Cause/Solution: A Foam Driver Error means there is a ground issue somewhere within the system. Ensure the implement ground strap is well grounded and the system shares a common ground. An example of this would be a Direct Liquid system running with Direct Injection - be sure the high current connection for the valve and boom sections are...

document Q: When do I need a Multiple Product unlock?
Question: When do I need a Multiple Product unlock? Answer: You will need the Multi-product unlock anytime you are controlling or logging (monitoring) more than one product. With the Multiple Product unlock, the EDGE can control and/or log up to 2 products*, the Versa, 3, the InSight, 5 and the Ag Leader® Integra, 8. document SeedCommand Multiple Module Line Art (Hydraulic Seed Rate / Clutch Control / Seed Tube Monitor / 2 Channel Down Force)
Items to keep in mind: Verify adequate power when adding additional modules. To add DirectCommand Liquid, begin connecting CAN A at the 2-CH Down Force CAN A Terminator. Power splitter should be on black 2-pin (Requires multiple module power cable for power PN: 4000752-12 or 4000752-3). Implement switch hierarchy is correct based on modules connected. For complete implement switch hierarchy, see this link.
